Looking back at 2024 (and what's next)

I want to say thank you. 

You've given me something incredibly special this year: your trust and attention. 

You chose to open these newsletters, to read the breakdowns, to actually engage with what we're building here.

That means more than you know.

I’ve been sitting here looking through all our newsletters from this year. 

It’s wild to see how far we've come.

I started this newsletter because I wanted to share what actually works in content creation. 

No fluff, no guru stuff - just real insights from someone who's been there and done it. 

And week after week, you lot showed up. 

Every Tuesday and Thursday, reading the breakdowns, sending replies, sharing your wins. 

The conversations we've had about content have been incredible.

Remember when we broke down that fever dream video from @grantbeans? 

Or when we discovered how that Dubai real estate creator made property listings go viral? 

Each breakdown taught us something new about what makes content spread.

Some of my favourite moments were breaking down the small stuff - like how pattern interrupts work, or why certain videos keep you watching while others don't. 

That deep dive into the emotional rollercoaster technique changed how many of you approach content.

But the best part? 

Seeing you apply these principles. 

Getting messages about your viral hits, your growing audiences, your wins. 

That's what this is all about.

Going into 2025, the newsletter isn't changing. 

I’ll keep breaking down what works, finding new techniques, and sharing everything I learn. 

Your support has made all of this possible. 

Every reply, every share, every success story you've sent - it's all helped build this community into something special.
